Distance Education Program
The Distance Education Program (DEP) consists of video and interim module courses. The DEP is designed for students who desire to participate in a seminary program but who are not able to relocate. All students in the DEP must be registered with EBTS. If you have not already done so, you must send in an application along with a $30 application fee. You may obtain an application from our website or by calling our Registrar's office.

- Our module courses are one-week in length. These courses meet approximately 30 hours during the week (day or evening).
- Module courses are offered during the winter and summer breaks.
- Module courses are offered at EBTS in Connecticut and at other locations.
- The specific information regarding our module courses will be available approximately two months before the courses are offered. For courses offered in January, the information should be available by November 1. For courses offered in May and June, the information should be available by March 1.

- Module courses cost $325 ($25 matriculation fee, $300 tuition fee for 3 credit hours).

Instructions for Video Courses
- Each video course can be checked out for 4 months. You may check out only course at a time.
- Cost of a video course:
- $50 refundable deposit. This is refunded once the tapes are returned.
- $25 matriculation fee per video course.
- $300 tuition fee for 3 credit hours.
- A syllabus will be provided for each course. The syllabus will identify the textbook, which you will be required to purchase on your own.
- Once you have selected your video course, please contact EBTS.
- All programs from EBTS require that at least half of the course work be done in residence. Module courses are considered in residence. It is not possible to complete a program solely through video. Please see our catalog for specific information regarding your particular program.
